Denis Squeri has had a 26 year career spanning both the high-tech and insurance industries. In the first half of his career he was a marketing and sales professional with several recognizable electronics and toy companies. He successfully helped launch companies like Worlds of Wonder (Teddy Ruxpin), The Learning Company and Nintendo. As General Manager for The CompletePC, Denis introduced his company to self-insured benefits that were relatively unknown to small business.
In 2003, Denis opted to leave the travel intensive, high-tech industry and focus more time at home as a single father. In looking for a new career path, he decided to enter insurance and joined Humanex, Inc. His past experience with Humanex providing benefit support for several of his companies, showed the potential for lower cost, higher benefit level solutions. The creative, innovative and service oriented Humanex was a natural fit for his second career choice. Denis joined in 2004 and helped manage sales and marketing while building his client base as an insurance broker. Humanex was sold to USI, Inc. in 2006 and Denis became one of the top producers in the San Francisco office of this Top 10 brokerage house.
In 2007, Denis opted to partner with Professional Strategic Alliances (PSA) to provide a full range of HR, Payroll, and HRIS and Benefit solutions to the small business client. PSA provided a comprehensive and integrated set of HR related services that allowed clients to concentrate on their core business, while their employee and HR needs were outsourced to PSA. The integration of Payroll, COBRA, Flex Plans, 401(k), 403(b) and Human Resource Information Services (HRIS) proved valuable to a broad range of clients with as few as 2 and up to 250 full-time employees.
Denis joined Farallone Pacific at the end of 2008 and now provides the same, full service Benefit Consultation, Insurance and HR Services.
